This is from the engine bay of my soon to be home 2013 V6 DCSB 4x4 TRD Off Road Tacoma. Was trying to verify that the truck has the towing package. I was told looking at the oil filter assembly would indicate if it had the oil cooling lines coming off the bottom. Is this correct and can someone verify if that's what I'm looking at.

Those are the oil cooling lines, so yes, it does have the factory towing package.

pretty sure ALL v6's have the engine oil cooler / subsequent lines.

You need to look for the 7 pin harness, higher amp alternator, and extra small black radiator at the front of the radiator stack.

Not all v6's came with the oil cooler. The oil cooler is part of the optional tow package, along with sway control programming, 7 pin trailer plug, trans cooler, larger battery, and high output alternator.

Sure about that? I dont think i have ever seen a v6 without the oil cooler. Hell my moms 07 4 runner with the v6 doesnt have a tow package but its got an oil cooler (though the 4 runners could be different)
