    No that's good. I think the 9.5 is a better match and the options look good.
    So the remote is included?
    Also what is the difference between the "Seal" and the "DV" series.

    Sorry so many questions. I just haven't done all my research yet cuz I was thinking I would put this off. But it is such a good deal.

    Another great question, a few differences there;
    The Seal is basically the premium version of the DV. The Seal gen 2 has a higher horsepower motor, faster line speed, and is IP68 rated making the winch itself, waterproof where the DV is water resistant. The warranty on the Gen 2 is also better, they extended the standard one year electrical, limited lifetime mechanical to a 3 year electrical, limited lifetime mechanical warranty. One of the best in the industry.

    Edit, and yes the remote is included with this model.

    Here's a good video put on by our very own TCT magazine showing off the ComeUp RSI and it's features. I seriously contemplated cutting the center section out of my bumper just because this things features are so sweet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSBnVuxRe7E

    Rule of thumb is 1.5 times the vehicle weight. So if your GVW is 6k then a 9000k winch is plenty of pulling power. So the 9.5k is just a bit more insurance. I am running the DV-9 and it is a power horse. I can only imagine the 9.5. :jellydance:

    If you want to talk overkill there is a guy on ExPo with a Unimog who just picked up TWO Walrus 16.5s the ComeUp Walrus is fully submersible and can be run in 3' of water with no issues. So yeah he'll have over 16k pounds of pulling madness on the front and rear of his rig.

    Looks like they dropped their price. So it's $100 off from retail.

    Just curious what he is running that he would have to cut his bumper up to fit one.

    You can't see it from the pics I posted but I had to do a bit of cutting as well.

    But no worries I have seen the back side of a Pelfreybilt bumper and you have plenty of room in it.

    Meh... it's a feather weight compared to what it is going on. Someday I will own a MOG.

    So the 9.5 and the 12.5 have almost exactly the same guts just with a lower gear on the 12.5 and a thicker/shorter line (82' vs 100'). I'm thinking the 12.5 prolly retrieves slower unless they have a way of releasing the gear for the unloaded rewind.
