    Go fast stuff
    Your shocks may not start fading when water will sizzle off them however getting up above boiling, your seals start to take a hit. It's not that they can't handle 250+ deg but I wouldn't run them that hot for too long. Unless your running high temp viton seals.

    Fade-A-Way runs Viton. These damn shocks can take a hit and keep going like nothing ever happened. I was leery about their strength at first, bu they sure have proven themselves. :thumbsup:

    I did the DIY...in retrospect I should have just spent the extra cash and got them welded.

    mine came welded, I went for the DIY set..... except for the plates that had the nut welded on em..... and the main body is welded up .... did I win the lottery?

    You got lucky one too many sets were welded so thats what you got.the inside plate is left off so you and set the width of your shock mounting eye.

    @JLee , what is the height raise from the stock bushing mounting surface to the new eyelets? Have you done any test fitting on a 4th gen 4R at all? It looks like it should work, maybe with a bit of modifying?

    I never checked that we cut it all out and built it to fit 12" shocks. I haven't seen any 4 runners try it so im not sure what needs to be done.
