Ha! You're telling me, I was drooling behind the camera, it took every ounce of patience not to sneak a bite before all the guests got to sit. Not to mention the Chef was sneaking me the extra appetizers as he plated them earlier. That food was probably the best wedding food I've ever been served.
Forgive the lack of silverware, they hadn't brought tongs out.

I really love the fact you guys are giving critiques now!

    Congrats Eric!

Thanks for the feedback! Haha, yeah I have no idea what that slide/concrete thing was, either. That whole section of the park was just really bizarre. I liked it!

Congrats, Eric! That one really struck me when I saw it. Awesome shot!

New Challenge: Long exposure (1 second or more)

Not specified so day or night. Must be taken from right now on. Due this Monday at midnight of your local time.

    Go!

Edited to note minimun exposure time and changed deadline to Monday instead of Sunday since we are getting a late start this week. Times will return to normal after this week.

Any chance on extending the due day to Monday because of the holiday?

Is there a minimum length of exposure to qualify?

Long. Not short also acceptable. Ha

The length of exposure will show in the final product. I say let the photos do the talking and don't set a limit.

10 seconds is super long for one scenario while 10 minutes is short for others. Can't really know what people might do.

Just my bit. Don't mean nothin. Ha

I think that would be fair since we are starting this late in the week. I'll change the deadline in the post for this week only.

Let's go with 1 second or more. I'll also note that in this weeks post.

Anyone? I'm going to try, but haven't really had the most opportunities for long exposure.

Figured I'd put up the camera and see how a 30 second shot of me doing dishes turned out. Meh, but it's an entry! :p
I'm happy extending if more people want to do this challenge through next sunday.

I really wanted to participate in this challenge so when I read your post @92shawman , I decided to give it a quick shot. I had been wanting to do the steel wool/long exposure for a while and saw this as my opportunity. I needed a whisk but since I don't have one I made something similar out of old wire hangers and used a drill to spin it around. This location is right behind my apartment complex and turned out to be good. Here is the result!

This was taken with a GoPro Hero 4 Black, night lapse, 15 second exposure, 12MP
