since there isn't any cargo light its impossible to see in bed at night. at first a little bit of light would come through the back window if i had dome light on, but with the tint on them now i couldn't see a thing. got a strip of marine leds and installed in bed with switch in driver side cubby. was able to get the light for 15$ and switch for a couple dollars so a pretty cheep way to get some light back there

I guess because of where the dome light is located in the reg cab (towards the rear instead of by the rearview mirror), I get a fair amount of light in the bed just by using the dome light.

They're worth it. Great kit, quality lights, easy install with quality instructions.

I had the 5050 led flex strip and they did not last a year. They yellowed within 6 months. I replaced with 2 - 8" marine submersibles. I like these and lot better. Easier to install and replace if I need to. I have them wired to come on when door is opened or unlocked.

Nice man! I didn't really know anything about LED strips when I got them, so I was actually able to learn from the kit. I have since wired some up on my own in the RTT.
