In fairness to him, changing a tire gets your hands dirty and you could scrape a knuckle when your hand slips off the lug wrench. It would be totally embarrassing to soil a perfectly good Lacoste polo.

Those other sizes are pretty useless in the kit, maybe for pressing a bearing or something, but I doubt they would fit anything else on the truck.

I bought a single socket at NAPA that was specifically sold as an axle socket for like $8. There's been a few times I've needed 30 and 32mm sockets before, but those things wouldn't come up on a trail repair. The other sizes in that kit I agree are worthless.

I watched three chicks one day while I was up at school stand there watching a guy change a tire on their car for them. I wanted to walk over and smack them in the back of the heads.

Women maybe get a pass in my book, at least for the general population, but guys?! I'll bet of all the people my age (29) and below where I work maybe only 10% have changed their own oil in a vehicle before.

Meh, women don't even get a pass in my book. If you are going to operate a vehicle on a daily basis you SHOULD know how to change a tire regardless of who you are. It's dead simple.

When my trailer tire blew on the way up here to CO I would have changed it myself had I had a spare tire. But nope, had to wait an hour and half for RS. Man I was so pissed. I could have changed it in 5 minutes. Any guy that doesn't change his own blown tire, when he has the ability to, should be kicked in his mangina.
