Not going to be long travel in the front, just stick with my kings and Camburg uppers.

Think i can get 13" out of the J59's? because thats all i need.

Spring over will never do as good on this truck...long travel rear will do good with that front end

Im strapped at 14 but my springs don't have near as much arch as anthony250f springs. 14 may not seem like a lot either but im surprised at how much fun i can have with 14" of travel without going to crazy since the truck is my DD

11" is probably fine... The front cycles 10" if I'm lucky, more likely 9".

Not trying to build a prerunner, but I do want the suspension to perform well. I think with 11" or rear travel, that will match the fronts capability fairly well.

All my buddies drive jeeps anyways, I'll still destroy them at speed lol.

You might be able to get 11"out of j59s but its not as good a spring rate as the f55s and has less leafs in the pack. Just my .02 though. I also have 9 inch shackles, the holes arent drilled center but still work fine, im throwing in also. And a new j59 pack is $706 not including shipping which will be at least another $100 vs $500 for f55s with the bushings and 9" shackles.

I have a used set lined up for $440, but I'm guessing I'll need shackles.

I'm trying to avoid extra fabrication if I can't get away with it. Did you say these were set up for spring under? Looking for 3" or less total lift.

Can you give me a breakdown of what I'll need to do in order to run these? If it's just the axle mounts, that's not a huge deal. Assuming from your posts that the 9" shackles will allow me to use the factory front hanger and shackle mounts?

Yeah these are spring under. I used to have a set of some old ubolts laying around that i used for spring under but i recently bought new ones. I was gunna throw in the old ones but i can't find em.

And well not necessarily. To run this springs you need to move your front hanger forward and need to redo shackle mounts. But with 9 inch shackles you can run em through the frame and not have to worry about clearance issues with the bed as if you were to run 12 inch shackles over the frame like i have em. Ive seen alot of different shackle setups however but there are popular ones that are popular for a reason and do work good.

But if you arent really lookin into doing fab work then these might not be the springs for you hnestly.

How do the j59s work? Are they bolt on to stock mounting points?

You have to re so all the mounts but it's really not that hard to do. It's worth it

Afaik the J59's just bolt up like stock leaves. Does sound like a better option for me. Not trying to do a lot of fab work. Keeping what I can stock, and upgrading as necessary. My stock leaves and shocks are 170k miles shot, so I might as well replace with decent stuff. I have Kings and Camburg uppers in the front, so I want the rear to perform reasonably similar.

I personally agree with anthony. There are so many build threads on how to set these up honestly and i feel like its worth it but if you arent a welder than yeah itl be that extra cost of setting em up.

And as far as have the rear perform like the front i personally have no experience with your truck or j59s but i cruise the desert at 50mph easily without pushing it and the springs handle it fine. Tha Being said im also running a 4 tube bypass with these springs

With these springs under the axle do you also have to flip your axle so the leaf mounting flats are on the bottom?? Or is there a weld on kit for that?

You purchase new leaf perches so you weld them at bottom>
