My 2015 DCLB SR5 Build

I've been saving up for a long time, driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee that's been "on its last legs" pretty much since I got it in 2001. I finally got some money in the bank and the wife's buy-off, and shopped for about 3 months before finally settling on what I want and waiting for the dealership to get it for me. I wanted to make sure to get a 2015 before they sold out so I didn't have to buy used or be a guinea pig for the 2016 redesign.

Double cab, long bed was non-negotiable for me, so that limited me to Sport or SR5. Originally wanted a Sport in Blue Ribbon Metallic, but the rarest build in the rarest color just didn't happen. So after lots of searching (by the dealership) and a few changes in what I wanted, they finally got a white SR5 for me. $34k out-the-door.

So far I'm really liking it. Although it sure doesn't soak up the little bumps on the freeway like my Jeep or my wife's Corolla. I'm hoping after I lift it that'll change. Right now certain stretches of road on the drive to work feel like riding an old wooden roller coaster. Makes my brain hurt inside my head.

They were going to drive it from out of state to get it to me, but in the end since I'd waited so long, they were able to get it on a truck instead.
