Planning a family trip with my wife and son. I have been working 6 days a week all summer and its finally over. Time to camp and relax. I would like to have the TW family come out and join us, the more the merrier :)

    Lets Git-er-dun boys!

Use this map as a guide. It is not the exact coordinates:

    http://goo.gl/maps/VAFBg

After you exit the freeway (Eagle Lakes exit), the gps will say 3 miles to the coordinates. Shortly after, you'll see a couple of bathrooms and big dumpster on your left. Good place to air down.

Follow straight and the GPS will tell you to take a left on Grouse Ridge Trail, follow it.

When your GPS says .5 miles left, it'll start to go off the gps route. A quarter mile after, you'll see the first fork. We've marked it with a paper bag with a "TW" and an arrow right.

Shortly after, there will be another fork: left or straight. You'll see a red shop rag taped to a tree branch (straight), follow it.

From there you just follow the trail and there's no other way to go. Go until the end, that's where you'll see us

The trail is not PreRunner friendly, although you will be able to get to the campsite. PreRunners are more than welcome to camp, and ride with someone for the trail.
Comms - CB Channel 16, FRS Channel 16/16

Do you need sliders and armor to run this trail?

4x4 is a must lift bumpers and skids are not needed but if you don't want your ass hole eating your seat they are nice to have! Sliders I would say are a must but i did it without them and it was not fun. This is rock crawling so one if not all your wheels will have rock rash on them at the end of the day it's not just driving down the road in 4wd there is technical spots where you will need to pay attention or you will have body damage. Bypasses or not they trail is still rated difficult i think it's a 6 in the book. The guys with no wheeling experience and unequipped rigs are not going to have a great time on this trail.

Truck will finally be rock ready so I may make this my first TW hangout. May need to ride along though since I am new to wheeling this beast.

I've got the weekend off for my bday, I would like to come!
HMF said he'll burn my sliders on, but I'm broke and keep holding out for a buddy to do em for free...if I can get them on, maybe :D got wheels/tires and a rear bumper to beat on, I think I'll be ok if I can get the sliders on!

Maybe we can get a twofer deal... I asked him a week or so ago he said probably 100-150, which seems totally cool, haven't had the time to get down that way... I know his welds will look better than my buddies, just rather put that money in the suspension fund ;)
