    Hi there,
I am looking to put an OME 3" lift in the truck with Dakar heavy springs in the back. The truck will get 33" Toyo Open Country MudTerrain tires on 17" rims. I will (hopefully) be pulling a 4x4 teardrop trailer behind the truck and was thinking airbags would be good to level the truck and support the increased tailgate load of the trailer.
Does anyone have any opinions on this?
I have received quotes on a Rough Country 4" lift and a OME 3" lift. Which suspension system is preferable?
Thanks for your time and input. I have alot to learn!!

I kind of doubt you'll need the airbags with a teardrop trailer on the back. The Dakars should handle that fine.

    Welcome to TW!

Thanks so much for the information and the welcome. I felt like I wanted OME so the confirmation is helpful...no yuppies here!!
The tear drop is pretty burly, so I thought the airbags would be a good safety system.

I've towed a 87 bass boat loaded down with 2 150 qt coolers in the bed fully loaded with ice and food, enough shit for 5 guys for the weekend and 5 guys in the cab and the truck sat level.
