Hopefully its simply a cheap dealer add on. Can't see the side rails not getting the way but the front ones do.

Jeff, as you so graciously confirmed, the OEM Bed Mat is unchanged from 2015 to 2016, for the short bed.

Would you know if that is also true for the Long Bed? Is the part number still PT580-35050-LB? I ask because the spec length for the 2015 is 73.5", and for 2016 it is 73.7".

    Thanks much......................... Frank

I can't tell actually. The rail was never sold separately (came with the box). Interestingly, the 2016 diagram still shows it, but obviously it isn't on the new trucks. :(

Over in this thread which I found after asking you it looks like maybe the part number is something like this (for 2g anyway) - maybe you can confirm if this is the Tacoma part and if they are the same for 3g vs 2g? There was some chatter in that thread if I recall about Tundra parts as well.

    PT278-35100-BH (header rail)
    and
PT278-35100-LB for long bed and -SB for short bed.

    Should be called:

"Truck Bed Accy, Header Rail" and "Side Rail, Long" or "Side Rail, Short"

Hey Jeff... How about more practical stuff like what oil filter do I need..?? You got a part # for that...AND... do I need a special wrench to remove it..??

    THanx man...

Yeah, those numbers (PTxxx type) are port/dealer installed parts that wouldn't show up in the parts catalog, they are replacement parts for the rail pieces for the 2005-2015, but they aren't shown in any accessory carry-over lists, etc., (because they're not technically accessories, but they're also not technically factory parts either). Someone will have to try it, or wait for Toyota to release an option for the 2016.

You will need a 64mm wrench to remove the filter, like other Toyotas with this type of filter.

Should be, yes. I haven't measured it yet though, and it's not listed in the parts catalog.

Yes, it's still the same part.

Jeff – Are the distributor installed parts listed in the parts catalog? I want the wheels from the Texas Silver Edition package that Gulf States is installing on 2016 SR5's.

OK question for you @Jeff Lange, resident parts guru. How much of the dash would you have to replace and/or how big is the piece of the dash that includes the heated seat switches? I'm curious if someone without heated seats could add the factory switches when installing aftermarket heaters?

Just to piggy back on this question, If I'm not mistaken the panel with the heated seat switches contains the display for the split climate control. How much would need to be swapped out to get that going in a non-tech truck?

The seat heater switches, that display and the climate control is all sold as an assembly, no parts are sold separately, so you'd need the entire unit.

    $$$

and that doesn't include the cost of the seats w/ the heaters :)

unless you go aftermarket and add them yourself.

Just came back to follow up. Thanks for the info. After delivery if they are indeed missing I will try one if I can in fact get them for $35 on Amazon.

Most of the handles have the same part number. Unless you are getting one with smart key then they will not work since the handles have sensors in them
