U cant just look up your order history on Amazon and link me the one u bought? Id forsure help you out but i mean this adapter probably goes for 5 bucks and shipping would cost just as much from you to me. But amazon prime thats a different story. I find it hard to believe the FACTORY antenna connector is not standard to the aftermarket but rather the other way around? But i may be mistaken as ive never taken this vehicles OEM radio apart. Owning a few toyotas in the past there connections have usually been pretty standard for me.

I've been looking for an android head unit for a while, but haven't been able to find one. This one looks very well made and interesting. The only thing that has me worried is that I've heard is the audio may not be that good because of frequency response and such. Do you have the steering wheel controls hooked up to this? And how hard was it to install and wire up the unit in relation to the Alpine units?

No harder than a standard unit once I figured out the steering wheel control setup. I've done upgraded audio in my last 5 cars, this unit sounds as good as any past head unit. That was one of my biggest concerns as well.

Ya man for the most part, could use some good apps your using on this thing. My 05 taco i dont think needed the antenna adaptor but it was 3 bucks from china. I have a sprint phone so cant really tether that well with the wifi unless i pay 10$ a month. But found a hack to root my phone and unlock that feature from sprint. Either way all i need at this point was a backup camera and good bluetooth functions. You figure out a way to customize the Joying loading screen on startup?

To change the startup logo, go to settings, then factory settings, I forget the password but just Google it. From there you can select the toyota logo.

There is a wire labeled "back" , that's what I used to trigger the camera.

Yes, the head unit needs to know when you are in reverse, you can either pull the signal from the reverse light positive or try to find that same wire in the kick panel. My 2015 has the factory reverse camera and I got the reverse wire from the radio harness.

Has anyone tried to play music or use gps through Bluetooth on this with an iPhone 6 on this head unit?

Or does it have built in gps so I wouldn't need to tether?

    I'm interested in getting this

It has built in GPS with maps on the included SD card, music via Bluetooth works fine.

Anyone install this unit with a factory JBL system? Joying makes a harness for the JBL, but they wont tell me if it will work unless I show them a wiring diagram for my truck. I am having trouble finding a wiring diagram for a 2008 taco with the JBL system.

EDIT: Joying finally told me it would work, I install it next week and let you guys know how it goes.

Beautiful install, I made my decision based on this thread, mine is scheduled being installed today by BestBuy Mobile Install. Being a long time Android Tablet and phone user I cant wait to get this done. I will post pictures soon.
