My rear passenger window gasket is bulging when I roll it up. Turns out the factory did not install window stops on this door. Turned in photos and complaint to NHTSA today. Talked to Toyota today and they said to bring it in to the dealer for inspection. Said unclear if covered past the 3/36K warranty. Really? A hidden factory defect that could potentially harm passengers during a side impact? Has anyone else seen this issue?

Have no idea what you're talking about, but curious...
Can you explain more in depth?
    Thanks

My rear passenger door does not have the welded in window stops that all my other doors have. These window stops are behind the window gasket. This causes my window gasket to bulge out at the top when the window is rolled up.

I see, thanks for the clarification. So without those, do the windows roll up a tad too high, causing the rubber to deform a little?
