As far as what the companies are worth... Toyota (#1) is worth more than numbers two and three, VW and Ford, combined. What that article was talking about was sales figures

Tacoma will add things eventually if not in the next few years. Just a matter of what and when. Tacoma added things throughout the years. Really surprised me they added backup camera and bigger navigation screen the past years as the 2016 was imminent. Makes me wonder if the twins pushed the development up a year or two on toyota

Meh, you can get a gas half ton for the same price and tow even more. The Diesel Collie is interesting and I'm glad to see the market forcing more options to become available but I doubt the Collie will boost sales more than maybe 10K-20K per year. It's a nice option for someone is wants better mpg and towing from a midsized at a fullsized price. Most people in the USA would rather just own the full size though.

You can get a full size GMC diesel similarly equipped for that same price? Really?? And with similar fuel economy?

Go test drive a F150....you'll forget all about a Tacoma.

It will yank your little camper around like it isn't even there.

The back up cam is suppose to be phased in from 2016 to 2018....they have no choice.

No thanks, rather have a new 2015. That front end all jacked up, hangs over to far forward. Maybe an ARB front bumper might hide it.

You will forget about the Tacoma because the "Found On Road Dead" will leave ya stranded and you will be thinking about how to get home!

Darn near all my friends drive something from the Big 3, they kinda laugh at my little Tacoma. I like the new F150, really sharp looking truck, plus I can order it with a darn near 3000 lbs payload....and an engine that provides torque at very low RPM. I like Toyota, but this long time fan is not impressed with their truck offerings.

New Fords are fug to the ly. And I'm not buying a full size with a v6, I don't care how much power it makes.

My brother has a F-150 with the ecoboost 3.5. His truck averages about 14mpg. The thing always has to have the turbo on blast to make any power. I already didn't trust fords to last very long. Now I really don't have faith in their long term reliability.
