But it doesn't stop as well as a Tacoma what's up with that? News flash just about all big trucks have drum brakes.

GM 1/2 ton used drums from 07-13. We had much less issues out of them than the 99-06 trucks and 14+ rear brakes.

All of our GM trucks and cop cars with rear disks had issues with them from stuck parking brakes to locked up calipers. Big Fords too but not as bad.

There's a few more steps involved:

    1. Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test prior to entry.
    2. Successfully graduate military basic training.
    3. Successfully graduate the course for your specialty.

    Some facts for you:

    1. 23% of all people that take the ASVAB fail it. Source: http://blog.al.com/wire/2010/12/education_trust_finds_23_perce.html
    2. Additional recruits fail basic training. Source: http://usmilitary.about.com/od/joiningthemilitary/l/blbasicattrit.htm

Out of the above failure categories, what one do you fit in?

Been reading this fan boy site for years now. It seems most of you don't get the fact that Toyota does not need to advertise for the Tacoma. Its reputation is world-renowned. Think about it. When's the last time you've seen a land cruiser commercial? Yeah, the F150 is known here in the USA, but I can go to Any corner of the globe and see a Tacoma (Hilux) or a land cruiser on the road. Their reputations are solidified. No need for pomp and circumstance.

Toyota definitely doesn't need to advertise for the tacoma. You can go into any dealership and the sales guy will tell you there is a cult following for it. Another reason most dealerships won't finance for 0% the tacoma. BUT with the market being flooded with more midsize trucks they will need to do it. IN CASE the competitors trucks win out.
