That thing is a beast to get up there solo, especially if you have a lift.

Rofl yea, I can't imagine trying to do that thing by myself. It was a bitch just getting it lined up perfectly with two people holding it, one on each side.

I had dealer put on lower pulley before I started install. I did everything behind the grill and ran the hoses back in part of 1 day. The next day I did all of the engine area work then drove it to dealer for reflash. I had a big cardboard box that was about 18" high with a work bench in it that I hadn't put together yet. I put that in front of truck and stood on it to do install. I did it by myself in about 12 hours total. If I didn't have that box my back wouldn't have forgave me for a couple weeks.

Nope. Redline hood struts were my first mod on the truck. Didnt wanna accidentally knock the hood support and get hit lol

Hehe, Catlin can help you with that. He/She is known for aftermarket additions... Sorry had to say it.

Easy way to drop the truck. Take the front wheels off and lower the front on jackstands

Deflating the front tires could buy a little room.

It worked when I pulled my Jeep into a garage to install a lift, and then lifted it too high to be able to exit the garage.

Having gone through this hassle on my 02, I bought a little step stool for $30 from harbor freight. Made working in the engine bay much easier. About a one foot step.
Plus the Redline struts were a huge help as well.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Ah I did it by myself. Had some beer to keep me company.

It was tedious, cutting hoses and shit but not too bad. I took the time to torque everything to spec which dragged it out too.

Take the wheels off, or let the air out. Can get an easy 12 inches lol
