    whats up toyota junkies.
I just bought my first 96 tacoma sr5. Im originally from oregon and wheeling was obviously the best hobby out there. It seemed everyone and their mother had tacoma's or older pickups. I didnt want to be like everyone else so i always mobbed bronco II. haha now that I moved to Minnesota and nobody drives tacomas i figured i could finally buy one.

anyways, there isnt much for wheeling out here that i have found, if someone knows please tell me. Therefor i just stayed with the IFS instead of a SAS. I installed the 3" toytec coil overs with the bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks and the light racing UCA.

I put 33x10.5 on it and i thought i researched enough thinking that they would clear. apparently not because they would rub just from turning. The bilstein are adjusted up as far as i want to go with them. After i trimmed the bumper and the fender it only rubs when i turn and articulate (not very much).
My question is if any of you have ran into this, and if im able to put a spacer on the coil overs, and be able to adjust them down. (they are TIGHT) Or maybe should i just throw a 2" body lift on it?

Im not buying new tires so dont suggest that haha! looking for another remedy.

    Yes sir
Yea 33's rub on the front mud flaps and front fender when you turn. Most guys like myself removed the front mud flaps and trimmed where it rubs on the front of the fender well.

You can use wheel spacers to kick your wheels out a bit so the tires don't contact the inner fender as much. Lots of guys use spidertraxx or bora wheel spacers from 1/4" - 3/4".

Don't think coil spacers are going to help much; you'll still rub I think. Lastly, do not install a body lift haha... they're the devil.

I have 1/4" spacers in the front already, Ive already trimmed the fender. I know body lifts suck but this is driving me nuts! ha
