Did you get the Premium & Tech package? I can't find a single TRD Sport with that package anywhere in Texas or Oklahoma. Not buying until I find one it on an access cab.

Yes I did, no JBL though. I'm quite happy with the sound of the non JBL too. The added tech is terrific and I removed the front lower air dam yestarday too. I have yet to hear the noise the 2 gen was notorious to make when you would turn the ignition off, was related to the exhaust releasing pressure somehow I believe. If anyone knows anymore of that chime in.

Ill chime in on this, because when financing an additional 3000-5000 dollars into a vehicle loan, that can be anywhere from 60-100 extra dollars a month for 60 months. When you can purchase those same items cheaper and put them on your truck yourself, then you dont HAVE to come up with that extra money each month. Thats what i always do, i always buy the cheaper model, research and end up with what i wanted in the end and saved 60-100 a month for 60 or in some cases for some people 72 months.

    Just as an example.
    $60 x 60 months = $3600
    $100 x 60 months = $6000

Thats extra money. Some people are different, but this has always been my mentality, which is why i bought my truck without the $650 cruise control option and bought the stalk online for about $55 dollars and added it myself, saved me about $10 a month for the 5 years i financed my truck.

Ecotecin hits the nail on the head. It's sad this needs to be explained or justified, but Rone if you'd like to pony up a few extra thousand dollars for my upgrade, I'd be glad to give you my Paypal email. The TRD items we plan on upgrading don't come with the new TRD model anyhow. The bronze beadlocks do not come on the '16s along with TRD intake, ect. I didn't need to finance a few more thousand dollars on things I'm going to replace anyway on either truck. Uhh, back on topic please.

By the way, the truck looks pretty good. Still trying to fully accept that front grill, but besides that looks pretty good man.

Thank you sir! I am so happy with how it turned out. Install went super easy(though I did discover that the passenger side UCA bolt needs to be cut in order to remove it to replace the control arms) Other than that, no issues with the install

Picked mine up on Sept 29. Drove it home, packed it up and went on a 1200 mile road trip. She is a thing of beauty.

It still needs to go back to the dealership to have the tinting put on, wheel locks, door edging and nitrogen in the tires.

I've had mine now for a full week I've put about 400 miles on it. I was originally going to get a red SR5 with appearance package. The dealer got this one in before mine came in, someone had backed out of a deal for it. I was able to get it close to the price I was going to pay for the SR5, so I pulled the trigger. I do no regret it one bit. It's my first truck and I made the right choice. I installed 5" Lund bars, I bought all weather floor mats from ebay, someone posted a link and they actually fit, and today I put tint and bought her some new shoes. I already ordered the optional center caps for these wheels. A lift is next, I want to do it myself I found a DIY garage here in town that you can rent a lift by hour so I can do the work.

Hmm, I don't know. Ha ha, I've never done a build thread and I only have a few more mods planned for this. Black headlight mod, adding a lock solenoid to the the tailgate wired to the doorlocks, new grill and some cosmetic changes to the body
