It is. Still a pain IMO if you haul something that takes up the full length of the bed often

They all have their pros and cons. A roll n lock will take up too much valuable room in an already small bed. I want to say my roll n lock cost me 10"

Why can't you stand them up? We did and it never warped.

Personally? I don't want to have to remove the ugly tonneau to be able to use the entire bed . Vinyl Roll ups allow the use of the entire bed or just the portion one needs. without removing the tonneau.

BTW I would check again how long it takes and what tools are needed to remove Toyota's stock Tonneau. and the abortion that's left with the cutting of the rails. All for $650.....No Thanks

What i can't stand about roll ups is that they are physically mounted to the truck. While my trifold is removed in 3minutes or less. :)

I cannot believe that they would sell a factory option that forces you to cut up your new truck. That is blasphemy to me

I got my first look at a 2016 this weekend. I've been very curious about the cover. I didn't like how it stuck up on the back, and didn't cover the tailgate. I also don't like the fact that it let water in the truck bed. Looks like I'll be going aftermarket when it's time to make a purchase.

I contacted the vendor and they said they expect to have the 2016 model available within the month.

Does anybody have experience with the Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite? It looks pretty legit!

I don't recall seeing that on the 2016 TRD Sport w/tonneau cover I checked out, then again I wasn't really paying attention to that part.

The ARE LSII painted one piece tonneau covers are available from Toyota dealers for the 2016's. I was quoted $1500 from the dealer I purchased my 2016 from. A couple friends have them on their 2015's and they look great but not sure they offer the functionality I'm looking for.

I had an Undercover on my 08.....Terrible. Like a huge car trunk Had to take it off to carry anything large and that was a PIA. I am going with a roll up like I had on my 15. Best option for me. Its water proof and the entire bed can be used or just the portion you need.

I agree. Had a hard painted one on my 98 Dakota. PIA when you had to remove it to haul something.

Wow. I assumed they would at least have a separate mold for the rail caps with and without the cover. Seems it's the same mold, but they let a beaver clean up the ones for bed covers.

If you don't want the tonneau option, and the truck has it. The dealer will have to remove it and replace the top rails. I certainly would not take Toyota's version of a tonneau cutting up the rails like that....for $650? ...Nope,

There is a TRD Sport near me that I would probably go for, but it has a Tonneau. No freakin' way in hell I'd have that tonneau on my truck.
