Hey fellow Pennsylvanians, what are you paying for registration on a '15 DCSB TRD OR? Just got mine in the mail. They want $83.00. I have a union vanity plate and has been $36.00 for the past 10 years. Any thoughts?

 

$36.00 is for cars. I think I paid $58.50 last time I renewed the truck.

How u guys doing I'm not a PA local, but I am located in ne OH in canton...figure I'd post up. Since I'm closer then some of u guys then guys in southern oh. Here's my rig. Me and a couple of my buddy's have plans to shoot out to rausch sometime this fall.

Our trucks are in the "Class 2" weight class. Which makes it more expensive. You can have it registered as a Class 1 , like I did. But if your hauling any type of weight over the weight limit, you run the risk of a fine. Also Class 2 pays more on a toll road. If you have the sticker displayed anyway.

I don't haul a lot. And when I do I'm not worried about getting weighed. So I'll save my money. The "man" gets enough of it.

 

Literally just got my sticker today. I paid 60$ and its gvw is 5000lb. Hmmmm soooo my truck weighs 5120lb without me in it. All that armor. Well hopefully I never get pulled over and weighed. Haha

Just think you need to get the weight legal before moving the truck!!

 

Yes. I agree, but it is far cheaper to pay an extra 25 a year than to pay the 300 fine once and then have to re-register at the higher class. They just don't fine you, they force you to correct the registration, and if they want to, can prohibit you from operating the vehicle. So you may have to pay for a tow as well.

 

I pretty much have zero worries about being weighed. I can't think if I've ever heard of a passenger vehicle being stopped and weighed. Locally at least.
