If you want matching bumpers and hood scoop, tell them you'll wait till they have grey. Depends on how quickly you need a new truck.

Unless they've changed something about the package, trd offroad comes with an electronic rear locker, but a smaller and weaker ring gear in the rear diff.

Also no color matched stuff. And chrome grille/rear bumper, no scoop.

It depends if you'd rather have the color you like or the model you like.

Not in rush but they are giving me a good deal. Hard to obtain 2015 magnetic gray since it's the end of the year and 16s are rolling in. I don't like the 16s lol

Then try to find another dealer that has one and see if they will match the first dealer. Or take the black one before it's gone.

Just came from the Ford dealer. Looking at a 2016 Escape for Jen. Salesmanager tried the "this is a copy of our invoice and we are giving you $750 off" trick. I called him out and told him he was full of it and what I was willing to pay. He told me I was crazy and got up and walked away. I am sure I'll be getting a call tonight or Monday.

Not to mention all those other financing-related BS addons like upside-down coverage. I paid cash for my last several vehicles and it has never failed to piss off the dealer.
I had a guy refuse to honor the dealer's "price match" advertising, then get loud with me when I got up to leave. I guess it must be a tough job, being jammed in between the sales manager and the customer all the time.

I thought about doing this depending on what kind of rates they offered, but right now they're doing 60 months, 0%. Also, the discounts specifically say based on financing through Ford Motor Co.

lol, yup. In his defense, I think I aggravated him a little bit when I commented that his number for an Escape was only $2k less than what my company paid for my Grand Cherokee and that for $2k more, I would go buy another Grand Cherokee. If they call us back, I know I'm really going to piss him off when after done negotiating, I tell him I want him to throw in lifetime oil changes. Did some quick searching and Malouf down in New Brunswick includes it with every new car purchase. Had it on the Camry, and a free oil change every 5k miles really adds up over 130k miles.

I thought about doing this too (that's what I did when I bought the 2010 Taco), but at 0% financing, it doesn't really make sense to shell out $30k. Much better in the mutual funds. :)

So I got the lift and new tires done but I have lost all faith in Toyota and their dealerships after the raping I got for the lower control arms. Not sure I trust they did the alignment correctly either. The front tires just look like they lean inward slightly. (Sorry, don't know actual term.. Caster?)

Did they show you the print out of your alighnment or say anything bout it? I got an alighnment at my local Toyota dealership cuz I was in a rush for a trip. The alighnment was worse coming out than why I drove in. They explained they couldn't get the front passenger in green but the tires will still wear evenly.. More of a problem was I think they alighned it to center my 255s when I asked them to push them forward with the maximum amount of caster allowed. Didn't realized till the next day that it was a problem and that's when I started my trip. I'll never go there again.

You don't align lifted tacos to factory spec.

    Stealerships don't get that...

Where do you go in Bucks to get an allignment? The dealer gave me the same shit after my frame swap, and I gave them brand new aftermarket UCAs. I told them to align to atleast 2.5 caster and they said they would only align to factory specs. They wouldn't share with me the numbers either. Now my truck pulls right with 33s and brand new upper and lower UCAs. Such BS.

I will post the numbers they gave me tonight, work is super busy now and I have very little time to post.

I did stop at another place during my lunch break in Toms River. And he agreed it doesn't look right in the front and said that dealerships only work in a stock format. Any little change and they can't deal with it. I made an appointment with them for Wednesday. He's going to check their numbers first and then make adjustments. I'll let you guys know how that goes. Don't think I'll be going back to any more dealerships after this!

On the bright side, the tires and lift look and feel great!

Just finished up the the New Hampshire Overland Challenge this past weekend and my partner and others ran the Cooper ST Max in 255/85r16. This tire handled the mud suprisingly well. But my partner had a sidewall chunk missing in one tire and lost a bead on another. Running the same trails, my Toyo MTs in the same size had zero issues. Both tires were tested under extreme conditions tho.....

How was that? A friend I met through another member on here rode shotgun on that and the pics he posted looked sweet.
