Your truck looks great! How did you mount your light bar to the roof rack? Did the mounting hardware come with the unit, or was it purchased separately?

Late to the welcome wagon but as they say, 'better late then never'.

Welcome to the forum. As you know there is a plethora of info here and if you can't find it most people will be happy to help you along the way. That said, seems you've done your research and are well under way.

Nice truck! Simple, tasteful and clean. Welcome.

Lol. I feel your pain, I spend hours on this site. Eight weeks of research before I decided to buy the truck were spent on this site. I don't even want to think about the hours.

Like you I didn't waste any time modding it. 885 coils with 5100s, and a custom .5" AAL with 5100s on the rear leveled the truck nicely. Two days later I had 265/75/16 Toyo Open Country AT II on her. Within two weeks I had a cap on it. We spend 4-6 weeks of our summer camping so I needed more room for our stuff. I run an open bed in the winter months.

Next on my list is a TRD exhaust, URD header and TRD wheels of sorts. Not sure which ones yet but the wife is pushing me towards black. Yes she's an enthusiast which makes my spending habits easier.

You'll love the suspension setup your going with. On a side note, I also pulled the cup holder out and painted it black. I tried Plasti Dip first to see if I liked it but the coating scratches too easy with coffee cups etc. Now that it's painted and cleared I can polish any scratches out of the finish.

    Good luck.

looking good! i don't know if your wife encouraging you is a good thing or bad thing, could go broke a lot faster hehe. if i hadn't gone with these wheels i was looking at the 4runner trd's. both options seem to be good prices.

i can't wait to get the rest of the suspension in and get it installed. you don't know how many times i had decided on a suspension set up, and then went back and changed my mind. once that's done then i'll take it to get the undercarriage oil treated before winter.

Really nice truck! If you don't mind me asking, how much did the wheels run you?
