Anyone know the torque specs for the recovery hook on the passenger side of an OR?

 

I figured. I asked a Toyota tech today when I picked my tow hook up (got the frame replacement, they forgot to remove hook from the old one), and he said "tight as you can get it"...

 

What is the size of the bolt that goes into the idler pully it's a 06 4.0

 

Interestingly when I went to remove the bolts for my tow hook they both easily snapped. I'd soaked them both in Kroil and was using a standard 3/4" ratchet w/o a cheater, just pulling on them, and they both broke. It's not like I'm a gym rat or some muscle head either. Now I've got two threaded pieces of bolt stuck in my frame and the damn things are hard to drill- not that I'm sure an easyout would work and I have no idea how I'd weld another piece of bolt to them without also welding it to the frame. I ended up adding shackles to the front of my ARB so I'd have something to hook to.
