PS4 / Xbox One... Reviews in Progress

MY psn is "daydevin" on ps4. Going back to college so il probably be playing this way to much.

 

The new Metal Gear is a great game. The only problem is I can't stop myself from just running around and shooting sheep in the face and then launching them into orbit. I did have a bear chase me yesterday for quite some time before the tranquilizer finally took effect. That was scary. Oh and I shot my horse with a Gatling Gun while landing the helicopter. He's okay though.

 

Ive tried. But the phone signal cuts in and out too much to play when im on site.

 

Finished Call of Duty : Advanced Warfare on Friday and started playing Mad Max last night , enjoying it so far

 

So Mad Max is pretty enjoyable if a little repetetive in some parts like accumulating scrap to rebuild / upgrade your car and skills but overall pretty fun

 

That was my only complaint with mad max. It started getting a bit repetitive. I cleared most of the jett territory but by the time I did that I was tired of hunting scarecrows and the camps so I barely did any after that.

The main story wasn't bad though. Not the best story but not the worst.

 

You're done the game ?

 

Yup. I played it on PC since i could get it for 20 bucks though. Think i had ~15-20 hours into it. Steam says 26 but i honestly left it on while i went to the store and stuff.

 

Huh interesting , I am pretty much cleaning out all looting locations 100% so I'm 13 hours in but not sure I'm too far along on the story missions

 

You seem to like to 100% games if i remember right so youll get plenty out of it.

Mad Max is one of those games where you can pretty much power through the story missions and do minimal side stuff and finish the game. Obviously doing everything will let you upgrade your car and Max but theres only one real tree i found super nice to upgrade and the rest were more "optional"

 

I just opened up the Gutgash fortress last night , thats how far into the story missions I am

 

Thats about the point where i said screw the side missions and went for the main story. Still took a good 8 hours or so to finish from there

I have all the side projects completed at Jeet's stronghold except for the Large Scrap Stockpile and I haven't completed the gunpowder mission yet , I always get iced by snipers at the sulphur vents so I put that on hold for a bit cause it was pissing me off lol

 

You have done more than me than lol. I did that gun powder mission but dont remember it being difficult.

 

I got the guy released from the slavers and marked the two battle areas but I keep getting killed at the sulphur vents

 

I have both Jeet's and Gutgash's stronghold projects completed and both of their territories free of threat @ threat level 0 , Character abilities are all max'ed out and my Legend Status is Road Warrior Level 23 . In the story missions I just got to Pink Eye's stronghold so I'm guessing only halfway through

Did you have any issues with instances of massive frame rate drop ? I've had it happen a few times now and looking online it seems to be a fairly common bug with the game on both consoles

 

So , just finished the last story mission on Mad Max tonight , enjoyed the story , it was kinda a sad ending .

I'm gonna finish up the rest of the odds and ends , right now I'm shown as 88% complete , I'm currently at Road Warrior Level 90

 

Fallout 4 anyone? think im gonna pick it up next month, havent every played any of the fallout games. but everyone says they are awesome, plus so much weapon customization and open world map

 

I doubt I'll get it. I played the previous Fallout games and they are good no doubt. I know your stance on Destiny (and I had sworn off of it myself) but they have finally released the game that should have been released last year. Actual story lines and missions that go on forever. Better everything actually. Oh... and a raid with very few bugs that is extremely fun. My next big game will be The Division. Until then I'll stick with Destiny.

 

even if destiny is fun, i just dont have the time to put into a competitive online game i feel like or without feeling "behind". I really just want games i can pick up and continue to play by myself when people arent on or i only have a hour and still get stuff done. I always felt like unless i play multiple hours in a day a few times a week, i wasnt really getting anywhere in destiny. At least ESO and Bloodborne i could level and always get something accomplished.
