I guess I've got to start this very soon....

    Arrived this weekend.

Edges are razor sharp and the mounting brackets it comes with are made for either an on top or on the bottom of the cross bar application. They limit the versatility of mounting options you have.

Can I get a tracking number for my shipment please. Or an update on the last part to my rack? Or any response to the email and PM I sent you?

Craig, sorry I promise I wasn't ignoring you. Just trying to figure out the shipment. I used usps instead of the typical ups cause I heard that import stuff went easier. U fortunately when it was dropped off the receipt was misplaced and thus th tracking number. I am trying to track it down but if you still haven't received it I am guessing it didn't make it or is stuck at the border.

I will probably end up just sending you another via ups.

I'd suggest holding off. UPS will ding him $120+ bucks for getting it across the border, vs just 5% tax through USPS. They do take longer. Might be worth going down to USPS with your visa and see if they can pull a duplicate receipt.

Its not a full rack. Just an extra part so hopefully those fees will be much lower. In my experience USPS has been totally unreliable. I have lost multiple items leaving my shop and coming to it this year from them. I already offered to pay the import fees since the part was missing when I sent it before.

Lame. USPS has been good for me shipping fishing stuff up from the states. UPS is a scam.

seems like you're all over it. Now I won't be feeling so unique with my rack in Calgary!

Seawings works good if you are local to the Victoria area , shipping on to a further destination in Canada might eliminate the advantage over what UPS will gouge you though

54 or 60" are most common. Either one will work.

    FYI

Had my windshield replaced and rack removal was not required.

They set the windshield at the bottom and swing the top up, which is obviously the easiest way to do it. Cleared the rack by a 1/4".

That sucks. I asked the guy if the rack needed to be removed. He said that he would need help with the windshield if it didn't clear. He was a one man operation and ended up installing it alone.

Does anyone have pictures of a 40" Heretic Wraith LED light bar on a cabrac? I am looking for install pictures... Mainly mounting options. The mounts it comes with don't seems to work well.
