i have a 2007 tacoma. my truck starts to vibrate when it hits 30mph, only on the streets. it does not do it on the hwy. I am not sure what could be causing it, it feels like if im driving over gravel and it only last about a second or two. Any ideas???

I have the same problem, turns out mine is due to a faulty new ABS module after a crash I had last year. My shop had replaced pretty much everything in the engine bay except for the engine itself because of the stupid crash. The vibrations come back every once in a while, but its not bad. I haven't had time to get it checked out again. My concern now is I'm getting what feels like ABS kicking in as I brake from speeds over 50. I never try to lock it up, but I do have to push a good 50% + the way down just to get any significant slowing. Edit: My pads were replaced in the front and brand new drums on the rear as of mid last year.

I would have the Universal Joints checked along with the Center Carrier Bearing on the drive shaft.

Do you grease the universal joints when you service the truck?
