So I went and toured the San Antonio plant today. Friend at the dealership had gone and said it was cool. I was in the area buying a VW motor so what the hell... Man was it cool! Jaw dropping really. Way to short (45 min) I could have spent the day there.
Few of the things I learned, you guys on this site probably know but thought it's cool.

It took them a year to retool and get ready for the new tacoma. They did a few trial runs then started in August
The Inferno (saw only one) looked burnt orange but may be due to fluorescent lights? I liked it.
They produce a truck, taco or tundra every 60 seconds. Can go faster but that assures quality
All the taco motors are made in Japan and shipped 80% done, tundra motors are made in Alabama.
They employ 6000 people, they have onsite gym, first two weeks employees have to workout 2 hours a day.
Couldn't take pictures in the plant. So sorry bout that. Tons other stuff I can't think of right now but there you go.
