Not easily, they are bolted on to the hinge, I suppose if you wanted you could remove that bolt and take them out.

I appreciate you documenting the interior for those of us that don't have our trucks yet.

If you are up for it, I have a special photo request: In some pictures I've seen, it looks like there is a flat area between the top of the radio bezel (the part that is orange on a few interiors) and the actual upper surface of the dash. I'm contemplating using that surface as a basis for mounting do-dads but I don't have any good pictures showing how big it is (if it exists) and if it is sloped, tapered or otherwise less useable. I didn't think to look when I did a test drive. I'm looking for a shot straight down and one from the side (say with camera near top of dash above the glovebox pointed toward the top of the radio bezel. Hopefully that makes sense).

And as lame as this request is, I'd like to see shots of the interior door pockets-bottle holder area (front and back doors). I'm trying to decide if I have enough places to tuck stuff so I can give up the space needed for the JBL sub.

    Thanks for your consideration.

Wonder if the wing style nuts on the FJ Cruiser would fit? No tools are required to remove mine from my FJ

I forgot the door pics, they are fairly small spots though, I'll get some later. As far as the dash, it's maybe an inch wide, and slopes towards the dash.

No garage door thing, those are only on the limited. It does have heated seats, you can see the buttons in my dash pics next to the temp display , those come with the premium tech package

Not sure, they are good sized bolts with some room around them

I wouldn't think it would be such a big deal just to put garage door opener stock on all models, I hate leaving a door opener in the truck as Ive been broken into already from someone getting in the truck, finding my address in the glove compartment and going to my garage to clean me out of all my tools etc.

Apparently you can order the home link mirror from the limited model and install it in these ones, but it's $800. There is another thread I saw yesterday where some guy built one in to his dash, it looked simple and had instructions.

Got to sit in one last night. I am 6'1". With the seat a little closer than I would prefer while driving, I was able to get in the back seat with a little, and I mean a little, room between my knees and the back of the front seat. With me in a more comfortable driving position, my knees rubbed. Little less room than my 2006 Highlander. There was a surprising amount of head room. Felt like my 2004 4runner in the back with about 2" less legroom.

Pretty sure it's color matched trim, orange isn't the only option. Would be dumb as hell to have orange trim in a blue truck or something.

Actually, I've seen pics of the grey exterior with the black interior, and it had the orange dash. I'm not sure how it is with other colors, but I think if you choose black/orange interior, that's what you get.

In the TRD models, you get gunmetal gray surround or you get inferno surround. Those are the only two options
