Wife has been with Desert Schools for ages, I think they do a great job. Better than BofA.

Yeah, it sucks but things kept breaking, and I couldn't enjoy it anymore with the way the bills piled up.... especially cause none of it broke while I was on a trail.

Oh well, I'll be back sooner or later with something trail worthy.

    For now...

Freshly detailed this morning. Not too shabby if I don't say so myself, and almost 1/3 of the miles of my truck

Thanks to iJonny for contact info I was able to meet up with Brandon at Avid.
He's going to make me some bolt of (to the frame) sliders. He already had a plate made from a past project. All it needs is a few minor tweaks to fit a 2016. I requested them to sit closer to the cab than they normally do.

I have to go back for a test fit before he does final welding then back again to pick them up after PC. Will end up being 4-5 weeks due to my work schedule :(

We also discussed doing a belly skid which would attach to the sliders and probably the cross member.

My last 2 sets of sliders were welded on however I want bolt ons this time mainly due to resale.
Previous trucks were older and I didn't care as much about resale. These sliders will do the same thing and can be removed if needed.

Wouldn't mind a rear bumper for better rear clearance however I like the color matched OEM bumper.
I have drug the OEM hitch a few times and if I remove it the rear bumper won't have any protection. Please don't say a lift will fix that problem ;)

Go with what the manufacturer suggests first and add for Taco lean on the driver side.
IE: King suggested to me to not exceed 3/4 inch of thread showing from top hat to coil nut.

Definitely sticking around, probably will be on toyotanation a little more though.
And I am more than willing to co-pilot for someone, riding is almost as enjoyable as driving (depends on who your driver is though:burnrubber:)

I'll take a hard pass on that one. It works great right now, wouldn't want to change that.
