    Thanks.
Wasn't a bad ending at all. It was a fantastic truck, and I got several years of awesome use and trips out of it with tons of memories. Now it's passed along to someone else to enjoy it.
If I didn't have another truck to continue using then maybe it would be a downer but if anything I've been doing more with my Cruiser than I did with the truck.

I think it would be great if the new owner were to continue this build thread.

unfortunately I don't think the new owner is an active Forum guy. He probably lurks quite a bit (I know he read through this entire thread before buying the truck) but I don't think I'd expect to see much from him. He's local to me so I'll still see the truck on occasion for club runs etc and I'll update any changes that I'm aware of if people are curious.

The only thing I think he's changed at this point is an ARB tent mounted to the bedrack since he already had the tent.

I know you sold this truck already, but I really respect your opinion and you seem to have tons of knowledge. Did you remove the sway bar on this build? Want to know how you feel about the sway bar. It's my daily driver.

Hell yea it was removed. Anyone that true offroads takes theirs off.

If you ha e aftermarket coils it's a no brainer. If you're on stock coils, wait till you have better ones.

Great thanks!! I have eibach coils and from everything I read says that it should be fine with the eibach coils.

This is a good idea. I will try this. Will need to find a good safe spot first.

Yes I removed the sway bar and my truck was a daily driver. There was a small increase in bodyroll through corners but nothing that ever felt unsafe. IMO if you plan to use the truck offroad, remove the swaybar and leave it off. If the truck is a street truck only, then leave it on.

@DoorDing's suggestion is a good one however. See how it handles with your loads. My truck was pretty heavy with a higher than normal COG and a RTT and lots of gear and the handling still felt good to me, but as he said, everyone and every truck is a little different.

I took them off and the body roll didn't feel too bad. I will be leaving it off. Thanks for your input.

hello sir, I am curious about the bedrack! Where did you buy the track for the tie downs? Or what exactly do you call those? DO you have any links for the C130 tie down mounts as well?
    Thankyou!!

Since I'm not building racks anymore for the foreseeable future I'll share a link to a source for some good tracks. Here's one good source.
    http://www.discountramps.com/tie_down_rails/p/TRAK8/
Sorry no links for the C130 tie downs. Only resource for those would be getting lucky to find some through a military surplus facility, or through an active AF serviceman that may have access to surplus tie downs.
Thanks for the compliment! Glad you enjoyed the build. Happy to offer any ideas or suggestions on your 4Runner if you have questions.

True. While I like the C130 parts, they are wildly unnecessary and overkill. It's not like I'm strapping down an entire vehicle. The commercial equivalents that are shown in the link for the tracks are more than adequate and far easier to source.
