What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I'm only finding replacement filters by these guys.. I'm looking more for something to replace my stock intake tubing/airbox that isn's k&n

The manual says 5.5, but 6 puts mine right on the full mark which is where it has to be for someone as anal retentive as me, can't be any higher or any lower! Haha.

 

They don't do anything, its a waste of money. Adding the so called turbulence to the airflow doesn't offer anything significant.

 

Whelp. Here's a pro-tip. If the leaf spring bolts are frozen in the bushings don't use a press to get them out. It turns out the bond between the bolt and the bushing is stronger than the 3/16" hanger metal. I can probably flatten it back out but it will need a reinforcement plate at some point.

 

But dude. It says "definate" improvement in power.

wouldn't blame you there. I put my oil right on the mark, but I think my oil is a hair above the mark but that won't hurt anything.

 

I just use the basic high pressure hot soap and high pressure wash at the car wash on my engine. And I leave my engine off not on, just a waste of fuel.

There's a mod that gives my truck extra power, they call it the Supercharger if I remember right.

 

No body likes a bragger. Im just jelly.

 

If you want any more power out of the 3rz without spending money for supercharger, your only choice is the headers from LCE

 

I have one for sale. Now that I'm doing a 3.4 swap.

 

I'm just saying

I need to get me some. But a better sound system and headlights are next on my list.
