'04 DCSB , 102K miles, need to freshen up suspension, do a lift too?

    Just turned 102K and stock suspension seem to be tired, especially the front. Tires are cupping and vibrates at 55-70 mph. I wouldn't mind a 2" lift or so...what should I replace and with what parts? I don't do serious wheeling...just some trail running. Don't carry much weight ever so I don't need heavy rear springs. Tires are BFG All Terrains, 265/75/16, may get new wheel and tire package too, not likely to go any bigger on tires. I do not have plate bumpers or a winch so no extra weight to consider, Thanks for your suggestions.

    I'd highly recommend OME (Old Man Emu) suspension components. Best bang for your buck out there in my opinion. There are a number of vendors on TW that carry their parts. I can't speak highly enough about Wheeler's Offroad as a vendor.

    1.75" Billy's plus 1/4 spacer on both sides. 1" block in rear. 265/70/17 nitto g2 SCS matte dark bronze 6s
    OME or bilsteins 5100s plus new springs are what most including myself go with. Adjustable 0-2.5 and not to much $$$. +1 on wheelers.

    This is the set up I have on my 04 Double cab 4x4. With the shocks set at the 0 setting since I have 3" coil springs and a 1.5" AAL in the back with regular 5100's.

    I did my lift at 200,000 miles & have 234,000 now.

    Spacer lifts are a cheap way to lift your truck. I agree with devinzz1

    yeah but the guy isn't going to be doing anything major. just some trail riding. that doesn't need anything special.

    Oem reps and spacer lift would cost more than just getting a set of 5100s.. It would ride a whole lot better and cause less damage aswell

    OME 2.5,Tundra 17s,Falken Wildpeak AT3W hitch w/ 7-pin, ARE cap, JVC HU w/BT, HID/LED lights
    I went full out cause at 137k I already knew I needed new stuff and one rear shock lost most of the fluid.

    I got the OME kit with 881s with dakar leafs. got 3" of lift and gonna get a little bigger tire to fill the gap. the rear is like night and day. front is mostly stiff still.

    This exact kit is used by a large amount of members (including me) with great success. Its not no adjustable coilover setup but its a good bang for buck kit. Im running skyjacker leafs instead of the toytec aal and 5125s in rear. Rides pretty good after things settled a bit.
