    Um... Light just on the front of the hood causes shadows of everything behind it including heads/hands. It's a function thing not a look cool thing, that ok?

    Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
    Maybe I can help out a bit here.

    1) The beauty of the Anti-Dark Engine Light is that it is shadowless. Because there is no point source of light, you aren't blocking the source, thereby causing shadows. The light source is spread across the width of the hood, so the only way to cause shadows is to block the entire meter-long light......and short of a spectacularly obese person working under the hood blocking the light, I can't envision a situation where that would happen.

    2) Having had the very first-ever ADEL installed in my truck, and having used my truck as a test/demonstration vehicle for a possible Mobile Light by mounting the Mobile Light at the bottom of the hood, I can say from experience you don't want a light at the bottom of the hood. It is very close to eye level, it is located right where your eyes are going to be looking (the engine), it faces you when you open the hood, and because it is so low it doesn't provide the kind of useful light one might expect it to. Basically, a bottom-mounted Light will blind you, without providing much additional benefit. In fact, you are more likely to have shadow issues with a bottom-mounted light than you are with a top-mounted light, because of the location of each.

    We would LOVE to sell you two Lights, don't get me wrong. But we are more concerned with having happy customers, and I don't believe you would be happy with having a bottom-mounted Light, even if it was supplementary to a top-mounted Light.
