(Valley girl voice). I am like soooo jealous. Did you like order on the first day. I'm sooo sure. I ordered, like the same truck in the sport and have nothing yet. Gag me with a spoon.

I was totally under the impression that longbox jbl was hard to get. So I was like upset. And my dealer was like you may just have to wait a while. And I was like no way. And he was like yeah way. And I was like whatever.

Seriously nice truck. I have been waiting patiently and I can't take it much longer. I want the same thing in a sport. Not sure when this will happen.

I ordered back in late august

Man I love it! Didn't order very long ago. Dealership was great. I haven't floored it yet, breaking it in right. Did demo one and got on it. Thought power was fine. Not like tundra I had but good enough. Will test that more ). It's very quiet and stereo sounds great. Too many electronic features with all the phone pairing and nav stuff but it will be fun to learn. Family loves it. Two boys 7 and 10 and wife. Really like the blue, let boys pick color but think they all look good.
Got a long bed for hauling dirt bike, camping and working. Think it looks good.
O and it got here a couple weeks before they thought originally so maybe others will also.

Can i ask your location? Just wondering as myself and a few other members have been waiting for the exact same configuration in a sport since August. We are still waiting and have allocations rwserved, but are under the impression that we may have to wait till December.

Another question if I may? I'm also coming from a tundra. I have a 1st generation, 2005 with 4.7 v8. Did you have the 4.7, 5.4, and how does the engine compare. I love the 4.7 v8, very smooth. I am a little worried about acceleration as I do like to punch it once in a while. However, my driving habits fluctuate. Sometimes I drive like an old granny. Nice and slow.

    Truck looks awesome. Enjoy.

I ordered mine in mid-august and received it today although it arrived last week - I was out of town when it came.

I had an '04 Tundra with the 4.7. This engine is smooth. It is not a V8 but when on the highway doing 75 if you punch it it gets up and goes. As some have noted the transmission will drop from 6 to 5 on a mild incline pretty quickly but my '14 Silverado did that to with a big V8. Its a smooth transmission. I live in Colorado and at 7k feet and go up and down some big highway hills daily - I'll get back on how it does but coming home tonight it rolled right up w/out batting an eyelash with CC set to 80mph - it dropped from 6 to 5 and stayed there and didn't lose a step. Around town, put your foot slightly into and it goes - it is tame off the line to start but tell it you mean business it goes just fine. Haven't mashed to the floor yet but I will ...

Awesome ! Very familiar with colorado driving. I 85 and i25. This is what I was hoping to here. When I do punch it I try to wait till I'm out of first gear. I'm getting antsy

I live in Monument .. up and down that beast of a hill every day on I25. I will get back to you on how she does going Northbound tomorrow. Southbound is more gradual but first thing tomorrow I'm headed up North and I do not like to go slow on that hill. That was the hill I went up at 80 with CC set ...

Like I said, not a V8 but still pretty sweet. I really like the transmission modes on this automatic too.

See post 6 - I 've driven a bunch of Camrys with this same sport pattern recently and love it. It's a great driving experience for an automatic.

I ordered from auto nation in south austin. can give you name if you want.they were great. There was a guy in at same time who had bought last week and came back to renegotiate because he saw a better deal somewhere else. And they did it! I was stunned.
i had 07 tundra. got rear eneded by cadillac doing 80 . truck kept me and my son safe but was totalled.. hence the new ride. Would have kept it for a long time because i had it paid for and only 70k mileage.
I had the 5.7 i believe. tons of power and i drive pretty hard. Had a 98 taco and 06 FJ. always had plenty of power, expect this will be the same. so far its butter smooth. Around town noticed just cruising its running around 1700-1800 rpm. Not really hi in the revs. Need to do lots more testing but have to work.
    good luck
one thing i think that helped get it is the factory is so close and these guys can seem to have a hookup.
