Ouch!! I was in for the Limited!! Now, I'm not sure.. thanks for sharing the prices.
    That's a $4330 increase over the '15 Limited.

Good to see Harper is busy "protecting the economy" by putting all our eggs into the oil basket. the Canadian peso isn't going as far as it used to before oil prices tanked...

    What a legend. Thanks

I hope the delivery fee and all associated additional charges haven't increased too much?

I'm looking for tips on getting that price down as well. Was looking at the DoubleCab TRD model... My dealer confirmed to me that he is getting some on the lot this Thursday and I should be able to take one out for a spin. What about extended warranty? Is the extra $$$ worth it?

Hands down the best way to negotiate in my experience is to get the price you want and then start wheeling and dealing in any extras. If you start with working in the extras you are basically trading some MSRP for overpriced options you could buy somewhere else.

Also, keep in mind Toyota Platinum warranty is only good if you plan not to mod the truck much in the next 7 years.

Oh, and make sure if you do start making offers AT the the dealership that anything they give you is in writing. I've had a few crooks try the old "I couldn't get that price we talked about agreed on by the manager, here's the best I can do," when clearly he just trying to fight back a little margin.

Given the economy, both nationally, and in Calgary, I'm going in fully expecting a deal on MSRP and extras included. When i was at Country Hills Toyota a coupe weeks ago on a Saturday, it was totally empty.

Thanks for the tips. I don't plan on modding the truck too much, was looking at the 5 year warranty just to make sure I'm covered in case something goes really wrong.

Economy smnomy. Toyota isn't selling a pile of oil field trucks out of the dealerships within Calgary. I'd expect normal discounts, somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.5-2K, off MSRP. Trust me, get a good MSRP first and then work in the accessories. You will come out further ahead if you hold something back rather than play all your cards up front.
