60% with thunder or just rain? I'm down to get muddy and wash out.

Just built up a 27.5 Giant Reign. Super fun bike. Wanted one bike that I could pedal and still take down hill. Really slack so feel like a mini DH. Have had a lot of bikes in the past... Intense, Banshee, Scott, Black Market... you name it really.

I absolutely love those 27.5 reigns. They rip! Super low and smooth. Nice choice. I have the '14reign x, and I should have waited for the 27.5 advanced.

I'm still gonna keep my hopes up, it's a good time when its damp, and I've had some fairly decent luck.... We'll see.

It is super fun. Built it up with XX1 and trying out the Turbine cranks instead this go around.

Super sick. A guy I used to ride with had one and he loved it. I'm super jealous. Huge fan. All you need now are some filthy clips. i see you lowered the bars, did you go with wider bars too?

I did, like the low stack. Bars are 785 in width. Nothing super extreme but far more downhill. Bike climbs really well for as slack as it is when locked out. Super happy with the decision

Yea buddy! After all the nonsense I spent money on for my bike, bars and clips was where I saw the most dramatic improvement.

Haha right? My first Giant actually and getting it set up was a breeze. I may go overkill in the rear and add a Vivid Air... but time will tell. The debonair works great for my weight (140) but I do have to run a bit more PSI

If you guys ever need work done in oc at a good price, head over to Fullerton bikes on commonwealth.
Also; if Dax is right and summit is down, Webb would be sick if we got a group together.

anyone been to skidmarx lately? last time i went out there was probably 6 months ago. and it was all kinds of fucked up too. it was after a recent rain storm (so maybe over 6 months?) annyywwayy, the trail had a nice rut going down the middle. was awful, you had to keep hoping from side to side and as soon as your front got rutted you were fucked.

man, this heat wave just needs to end. ive been completely unmotivated the last few months. also pretty busy with daily life.

I haven't hit skidmarks any time recently, but I know a lot of the big trails need a lot of work, crest line, Webb, telonics, ect are supper rutted and could use some clean up. I'd love to dedicate some time to working on them, but I'm crippled by lack of time.

right, not to mention the drive just to get out to these trails... living in south OC, all the fun runs turn into a god damn field trip. haha.

To be honest, I wouldn't be all that upset driving to telonics or Webb, due to the fact I'm in brea. However; at least in crest line I can camp nearby. Work a Saturday, and then get gratification and reward riding my work that Sunday.
