Sounds crazy, anyone ever raised the passenger seat?

Like maybe with a bracket, or some other method?

The boss doesn't like the height, the beltline of the dash and window being so high.

Had thought of trying to secure a "drivers seat" from an Australian junkyard, and trying to bolt it right in so the adjustment would be built right into the seat.

Just looking for input here, rational or crazy as that input might sound.

    Thanks y'all.

I can understand the bosses problem here. I personally would not try to raise the seat due to hassle. You could try to get solid steel/alum shims, but you'd have to get longer bolts too. The problem is that if you have changed the side handle (directly above the driver side door window (if you have one)) you could actually hit your head on it (like I did). And, it doesn't feel that great hitting your noggin on an aluminum handle.
I have a nice dense low profile pillow I have from a hospital stay. I throw it down for those occasions when a smaller driver jumps in. You can also try an inflatable donut cushion....if I'm getting too (much information) just let me know. hahaha

I just started a thread on how I did this to drivers seat, but would work on either side. Just search extending and raising seat.

I have heard of some people drilling holes in hockey pucks and putting between the seat and floor.

I would say that might work for the rear of the seat but not the front of the seat. You would end up with an unlevel seat sloped forward. You would actually lose a little leg room as a result.
