Accessories for Rail in Bed

I had a taco with a 6' bed but now I have a taco with a 5' bed and I was wondering if anyone knew of any links or mods that made good use of the rails in the bed. I was thinking of adding a hard cover and a tailgate extender but I would be really curious to see what options are out there. I haul a kayak in my truck mostly. Thanks for the help.

 

Accessories to haul a kayak or just general things that can be hung of the rails like fishing rod holders, flags, tie downs, shovel and jack mounts, kbvoodoo's goodies?

 

General things...I mentioned the kayak incase anyone knew of anything specific but really I am curious to see what is available to make good use of the bed area.

 

Welcome to TW. I don't really get the bed extender. I haven't hauled one thing in my short bed where I thought a bed extender would be beneficial, I just put the tail gate down and use straps. They are also far less bulky so I can keep them behind the rear seat.
