New TRD Sport inbound

I just signed the paperwork, and my new TRD Sport 4x4 double cab short bed, with the premium technology and tow packages, black/orange interior and Inferno paint should be arriving in 7-10 days. I am 40 miles north of Seattle, and I usually buy my new autos through the Costco Auto Program. I rapidly found out that no one locally has the new Tacoma on the Program, since they are pretty much selling them right off the trucks as they arrive. The auto pricing programs indicate that the average Tacoma in this area is selling for only $ 53 below MSRP. I was able to get $ 400 below MSRP, but was willing to pay it given that a truck of my desired configuration was already built and on its way.

I live in Alaska and I put down a deposit on my MGM TRD Sport 4X4 DCSB on 10/10. They originally told me that it would arrive at the dealership (Portland Dealership) from 10/14-28, but turns out it's not even going to be built until 10/28. I guess it takes a couple of weeks to get to the dealership from the Baja Factory so that puts it at 11/11. Hopefully its on time/early and not delayed! I still need to make travel arrangements for my trip back but I'm not going to do so until I know a definitive date of arrival. I hope yours comes in on time!

 

I wanted the top tech pkg as well but could not deal with the orange on the dash.... could not believe the sport with the top tech pkg ONLY comes in Inferno. Enjoy your new Tacoma. I got a blue one coming with everything except the JBL.

Don't believe this is a true statement. Others have bought this configuration with jbl and gray stitching in the sport with both short and longbed

 

build pics also show orange on dash and stitching.

 

At this very moment it is not available, but it will be. And it is an option that others have received

 

Build page only shows what is available in your area at the moment. It doesn't function as a true build page. The tech package with JBL is available in lots of colors

Congrats on the truck, I got mine at MSRP, happy with that I guess. Mine was already sold to another dealer, rolled the truck off and it was already sold, but since they had it on their lot (Michael's toyota, I live in Issaquah, Wa) they cancelled the sale to the other dealer and sold it to me, I was good with that, mine is a week old today Best of luck, looking forward to pictures!!

Good luck you will love it... The dealer didn't want to sell it to me when they saw it... Wanted to put it on display... No way man.. It's coming home with me....

Denver colorado area has sports in your configuration with jbl. Change zip code to 80123 before doing a build. I'm in the Midwest and so far not an option here.

 

Just did what you said and it worked. Why the hell cant I get that in Blue in NY!!! Bastards!

EDIT: Just did a build in Scranton, PA... one hour away and I can get what I want there as well. Hmmmmm, must be a NY thing.
