also does the 2.1A and 3.1A really make a difference.
id assume the 3.1 would charge alot faster.

someone find me a 3.1 that doesnt have the annoying blue light!

The one you posted still has a blue led. I couldn't find any that didn't so i just caved. It is a very low light and honestly helps finding the plug during the dark.

really want to just do the aux/usb tundra mod and remove th factory single aux port i have and replace it with the combi.
not 100% woth the how to that is here so i dont really understand. im not great with wiring that and its really expensive. cheapest one i found was $50

Pioneer head unit, canister bed cover (truck covers USA), nerf bars
Has anyone hooked one of these to a Pioneer AVH head unit? I am having trouble getting the head unit to recognize any USB device (Flash or portable HD), mirrorlink does not work as well. attached USB devices light up when plugged in, which indicates power but the Pinoeer unit shows no indication of connection. I bought this dual usb - http://www.ebay.com/itm/141729778760?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

another note, I only have the USB attached to the back of the unit. I did not wire the hot and cold from duel USB as I only want the usb to connect for audio transfer.

Is the USB recognized when using the original USB cable that came with the radio?
