    Which electronic or continuous monitoring radon detector would you recommend? I heard they are around $100, but the best reviewed one I found on Amazon was $250. I recently sealed the crawlspace vents in my crawlspace and put a commercial dehumidifier in there, so wanted to check radon levels for a long period.

    It's been my contention that although radon does exist, its not the problem they report it is.
    Save your money, you'll be just fine!

    Thanks for the comment! Another colleague has said the same thing to me. I got to thinking about this, because you can't sell a house in my area without a radon level inspection!

    It's a shame it has to be that way, ive been framing houses for 30 years in the northeast and witnessed this Radon scam since the beginning

    In 30 plus years I have never seen a radon test kit return with a negative result.
