I just ordered one of these. While it will be a few months before all the paperwork is complete, I will have the ability to have conjugal visits to use it.

well the omega is around 800ish, my quote was $785. So around $800 for the upper, that is a tad pricey considering the parts used!

Most of us don't pay retail though, or shouldn't!

So it looks like most people agree that the silencerco is the best for a .22?

I did the same......want to spend so much money...

    Oh, and new suppressor host

Remington 700 in .308 with a 16.5" barrel. Combined with my T&J tactical 30 cal suppressor.

The optic on top is a Leupold VX-III 1.5-5x with German post reticle. It's gone as soon as I can get a new optic. Most likely a leupold 3-9 VXR patrol.

And she held groups smaller than 1" with the 1.5-5 optic on there...I look forward to seeing what she will do with an optic more suited to small groups

Does anybody believe all the hype about no longer needing a tax stamp for suppressors that's being talked about right now?

I believe its a bill currently at Congress. We'll see how it pans out. Just treat them like a firearm. Fill out your 4473, get your background check, and go home with your purchase. It would sure as shit alleviate the backlog at ATF too.

I would love for it to happen but I don't see it actually working because at $200 a pop that's a whole Lotta money that Uncle Sam would be losing. But either way, I can hope for the best :fingerscrossed:

Actually they would gain if you figure the cost of actually processing each tax form, ATF Agent salaries, etc. I'd be willing to bet they're actually losing money.
