No experience with them, but for that price I'd go with one of the members here that will make a set to your specs.

The price alone would just make me chose to go with retrofit source or one of the guys who have them ready to go with factory headlights.

If I was spending anywhere near $1k on headlights, I'd want OEM housings - not OEM style aftermarket housings as that particular seller is using.

oh yeah but wasn't there a problem with 6 weeks turning into 9 months for turn around time?

RAD makes some. TRSAndrew makes some. LSC15 makes some..

To be perfectly honest, I'd do what @RearViewMirror keeps hinting at and do it yourself with premium components for half the cost and a few hours of effort. I haven't seen any of the usual builders not have some issues pop up, and if you don't know how to fix them you're pretty much up shits creek unless you can swap in your old housings while they're shipped back for repair - which is the same reason I'd buy OEM housings instead of aftermarket which are questionable quality at best.

I wouldn't buy from a random off of eBay, for sure.. I'd want to know the persons name and have some kind of personal relationship established so I can get a feel for their after sale support and so that there is some level of accountability beyond filing an eBay claim.

Everyone balks at the price but consider the cost of all of the retrofit components, housings, labor, shipping, etc. it adds up pretty quick. If you are somewhat handy quite a bit of mod money can be saved doing it yourself. If not, there are members on here, like ambiguous, that can do a retro for you.

fml.... a grand for headlights, of which the truck already has pretty darn good ones from the factory....

I could think of MUCH better things to spend a damn grand of cash on that would actually be useful.

I did my lights on my 2011 and it isn't hard at all. You just have to take your time and have patience. I think all in I had < than $500 in them and knew they were done correctly. I "might" do them on this one but I should have done them before I installed my Pelfreybilt bumper as there is no way to get them out without removing the bumper. I'm happy with them right now but I do think it would look cool to match my taillights.

    And they look good!

Keep in mind if you buy retros, if they fog up they need to be pulled apart and re-sealed, so either you're out headlights for a week while they go back to the builder (if they'll take them, of course - they'll charge you for the trouble) or you do it at home. At that point, baking your headlights is the more daunting task of doing your own retro/BHLM, and you have to do it anyway just to fix something.

Better to have more control from the beginning and get comfortable with what you may have to fix later, then paying good money for someone else to do the work and then being forced into doing it yourself, to an extent, to reseal a housing. It isn't an uncommon issue to have.

I've done the BHLM on almost every vehicle I've owned since I found out about it in around 2004. Putting them in the oven was the hardest part for me to wrap my head around but it works perfectly. Time and patience is all you need.

First one's I did on my old truck.
