We'll definitely have to go test it once I wire it up. It's a MICTUNING 31" single row bar.. cheap on Amazon but seems to be well built. I'll report back on its durability as it ages on my truck.. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OC7TSWI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

I have the urge to trim the license plate down to the number .. we're not required to show its month/year validation on the front anyways.....

edit* I'm down to help you rewire your bar.. no problem!

Sweet. I'm hoping to get ahold of some pods to wire into my fog light location at the same time as rewire my light bar. We could have a small light mod day.

I ended up doing most of the wiring this morning.. now I just need to get a relay and plug it in!

Got the switches off Amazon too.. they fit really nicely and light up with the dash lights too.

I ended up moving the Inverter switch from the top row down to the bottom too. Keep all the lights in a group :)

Which 15" are you gonna get? I put a 15" on and I like it, although it is relatively heavy.

anybody ever get called to federal jury duty in los angeles? i got the pleasure of going tomorrow!
I'm always down to go shoot a few rounds. Los Alamos is a gorgeous area. Some of the best scenery I've ever seen has been at private shooting ranges. I have the privilege of a range ten minutes outa town from my house and as long as its safe to shoot my buddy doesn't mind me cruzin out. I like locked gates behind me :) ill let y'all know a few days before i head back out there. We got some more rain so it should be good for awhile. Those are some good pics @inv3ctiv3

Anyone in the market for a gen 1 SPOT device? I'm unloading mine as I got a used gen 2 since I thought I had lost my SPOT (oh, the irony). It can be yours for the price of Fig Mtn's Hoppy Poppy in my growler. ($20) I may also accept .22LR ammo and even a pretty sweet high five, but it has to be a solid high five...no k00k/newb stuff.

More info: www.findmespot.com. Requires activation of their basic service at $99 per year.

Why do you want this device? I generally camp without cell phone reception. I generally also do stupid stuff while camping. Enough said. We almost had to use one with a group in the Mojave Desert a few years ago, but someone got a single bar of cell service. The 911 operator could not use the gps coordinates of our location and someone had to approximate on a map what the nearest cross "street" was on the Mojave Road (fun). It took 5 hours to get EMT Rangers to our location while the person lay face down in the dirt in high 30 degree weather. In hindsight, a press of the button on SPOT would have immediately sent help and they use your exact location and likely would have sent the helicopter instead of the person being driven out of the desert in the back of a truck with a broken hip. So I always carry one now with all the dirtbiking and "adventuring" we do. Yes, SPOT will work across the WORLD.
