I could do that BUT I tend to take some corners at high speeds. Idk if I want to remove my sway bar, I love to have more travel but I'm on the same boat as you. Maybe next year when summer time comes I will take it off and see what happens.

Most people like removal of the sway bar because there truck rides like a rock and they cranked the most lift out of it. Like mentioned above if you have soft springs or no lift, maybe not a good idea. I run my icon coilovers with 0 lift ( preload ) and I need swaybar. I get lots of lean in the corners. I tried both ways and prefer it on. Feels much more solid.

My truck rides the corners pretty well with the new lift. I was surprised, I would've expected for my truck to have more body roll.

same here coming from a 2000 2.5rs full suspension built and a 2003 wrx full suspension and power. Auto cross and road racing (track). My swaybars are disconnected and love it. Tires squealing are the limits. going up the mountains and coming back down is fun around those paved roads.

You will get more body roll with soft springs or no lift. Ever see how much lean a LT gets taking hot turn? Most (lifts) consist of firmer springs than stock.

Removing your sway bar won't earn you any noticeable amount of travel. What it will do is it will allow your IFS to work...well...independently.

In my experience, removing the sway bar was a great mod for driving offroad, but the on road handling of the truck is severely effected. I have TRD coils set to 2.5" and a RTT, and the body roll is pretty much unbearable.

Also: Running aftermarket UCAs will not increase wheel travel (unless you run extended length coilovers, in which case you MUST run aftermarket UCAs or you will destroy your ball joints on extension). With 3" of lift, you will probably not be able to align your rig properly and your tires will likely wear more quickly and less evenly than usual.

It will be a very difference experience once I take it off. But it doesn't hurt to try.

Noted, I might get UCA before I get another inch in the front. I wish UCA's wern't so expensive.
