SET is South Eastern Toyota? If so that's where I am. Wonder where I can find the real invoice pricing if so?

You'll never know what the real invoice is but SET sets their own prices from the distributor so they won't match the master pricing thread

Finally closed my deal and am not sure how I did.
Place my order back on 9/17, Double Cab Inferno TRD Sport 4x4. 36,611 no TTL.
Today they settled for 35,350, out the door was 37,950. Thoughts? They first wanted 39,600ish OTD. Although I was able to save $1300+ from what we "first" agreed on.

I really appreciate this thread. I am in the hunt for a 2016 DCLB TRD 4x4 in quicksand (Can't believe how hard it is to find one out here) and can't believe how much the prices jumped. In August I was on my way to the dealership to buy a new 2015 DCLB TRD Sport and had it set up for $33k out the door, but decided to wait for the 2016's. I am in North Carolina and being told they are selling them at MSRP no problem. I have read through the thread and lurked for a while, but didn't see, how are people in this area doing on the pricing? I play hard ball pretty well and play the dealers against each other until all tap out at the lowest price, but I find it hard to believe people here are paying retail when the are paying $250 above invoice in California. Thank you all. Great Forum and thankful for the knowledge.

It has been said many times that those people who 'order' for 250 over invoice will be waiting 5 to 6 months for their rare builds at Merced Toyota. I paid about 1000 more than that and will have it at the end of the month. 7568 the most rare build in this region.

Also, the difference between almost all model's MSRP and Invoice is around 2000 dollars. The difference between MSRP and 250 over Invoice is around 1600-1700 bucks. I got 500 under MSRP so our difference was 800 dollars from an offer we had of 750 over from a guy who could get it in about 3 months

For most of us who are buying now, we are playing a game of time. For those who can or want to wait, they can play a money game much later, months down the road

There isn't much coming in here either from any dealer on the SET site. None seem to have the the premium tech packages either. I get there is a wait for the guys in Merced, but I just moved here from California myself and there is no way it should be more here than there.

I will point out that every deal I have seen includes TDA in the "invoice" price. So the invoice price you see will probably be around $600 more (varies by location) than what it totals if you add it up from the list at the beginning of this thread.

every option and package adds to the invoice as well. If you get the tow package, you add 579 to the invoice listed in the OP.

Do all Double Cabs come with the rear and rear-side windows tinted? Are they tinted glass or dyed glass?

    Hardcore off road floor mats!
Does the SR Convince package come with 'All Weathers Mats' or is that a extra charge? Dealer said it does, but I haven't found anything that says the package does.

As far as I can tell, it comes with keyless entry, color coated mirrors, front bumper, & cruise.

Nice looking truck! BTW when I looked at the new GMC Canyon's on the lot many of them had window stickers over $40K so you won't save any money buying one of them.

Been lurking for a while and now really motivated to get my first Tacoma. I just got back from the dealer in San Diego who told me they are not budging more than 100 on MSRP because their stock sells out so fast. I asked about ordering a truck and they said the wait is about 3-4 months. You are right in that if you want to save a few hundred bucks you will have to wait months for your truck.

On another note, they had a nice looking 4x2 on the lot with a dealer installed Pro-Comp lift kit. MSRP on the truck was $30K, with the lift package was over $39,000!!!! Lol.

what model and packages/options are you looking to buy? Your findings will depend on the model number mostly

What area are you in? That isn't a very low production model. It's quite popular here and I think at least a few dealers around you should have those in allocation. Probably MSRP, though
