Both are great looking trucks. I'm happier with my dcision to buy the Tacoma every day! Wonder how they will look after 10yrs?image.jpgimage.jpg

Front of the Colorado "barely" clears the curb. ;)

the 2016 Tacoma looks less ugly compared to the Colorado.

What finally made up my mind was seeing a new colorado double cab drive on the highway, Pictures made it look better then in person vice versa with the new Tacomas.

I'm with ya on that. Been there done that. Glad I unloaded it while it was still worth something as trade in.

Looks like that chevy would get high centered driving over that curb.

I agree the tacoma is a nicer truck. But you are comparing a WT Colorado on steelies to your trd sport dclb. The cclb Colorado in z71 trim looks a lot nicer than the WT in your picture. The Tacoma comes more level from the factory, a levelling kit and removing that god awful front air dam does wonders for the Chevy.
Now if gm would build the zr2 concept....

I actually like the Colorado, I still went with the Tacoma because the interior I felt looked better. also I got a Sr dcsb 4x4 with nice wheels for under 30. A comparable Colorado would be an LT and the price was a solid 3G more..... The WT didn't have option for nice factory wheels and came with a small ass screen for radio. I think the Toyota was a better overall value more bang for the buck. Just my opinion for what it's worth

    I like the Colorado too.

But I'm with you the interior of it feels cheap.

More equally equipped Colorado vs. Tacoma. I think they're both nice looking trucks...

Colorado looks like a car in the front, SUV in the middle, truck in the back. Guess they were trying to be politically correct

Little level and some real tires, remove the air dam, and voila, nice looking truck. I choose Toyota because it holds its value like no other. 300k Tacoma 12 years old still goes for 10k around here, Colorado would be like 2500

All I can speak for are the previous gens. For our company work trucks we have 4 colorados (2008) and two 2nd gen tacomas (06 and 07). The tacos have about 140k on the clock and never have any problems aside from alignments and AC recharging every summer. The 4 colorados have 60k to 80k on the clock and we have constant codes being thrown, constant recalls, replacing suspension parts including leafs and the ABS just screws up on a monthly basis. I'm assuming the reliability of the new Colorado and 3rd gen will be about the same as their predecessors
