I am heading to Zion and beyond in two days. Not going to create any circle jerk material for anyone though.

Imagine how much better the truck would take on those rocks with just a small lift and better tires? Toyota still makes these trucks to be taken off the beaten path.

Cool video. Got all excited when I thought there were actually going to do (all of) Moab Rim. Doubt a stock 3rd gen could tackle that trail anyways :stirthepot:

"If you told me I was driving on mars.... I would be dead."
It should have started like that

    • I hate when old people try to make their videos cool by adding cool, young people things like downhill mountain biking.
    • Wow, the Tacoma's bed is able to store those multi-thousand dollar bikes.
    • "I don't know how they do it." Yes you do. They do it will skill they have attained while practicing. Stop it.
    • There is no off roading in Zion. Why are they in Zion?
    • Holy shit he is hauling ass on that dirt road. wth
    • That was a bad washout there, but then he says "They're no match for the Tacoma's four wheel drive system." I really hope he doesn't have that in four wheel right there.
    • Talks about 8000 feet and doesn't mention anything about the power output at elevation...
    • those glasses
    • OMG he jumped it. Only when the truck is not yours, will you ever jump a truck with stock suspension. wow. and it bounced. wow. what an idiot
    • Driving as fast as you can on one lane dirt roads, a real genious
    • 0 dark 30? Really?
    • Locks the rear differential, thinking it will immediately lock, and floors it
    • Balanced Rock, one of the highlights of ARCHES National Park...
    • Oh look, some arches
    • Haha, he's following the chick in the yoga pants!
    • HE'S IN MOAB WITH A TRDOR4x4 AND HE'S GOING JET BOATING?!?!?!?!
    • Don't mention a Jeep! This is a Toyota Commercial!!
    • Don't mention a V8 when the Tacoma is only available in a V6! This is a Toyota Commercial!!
    • AHHH Locking the rear diff on slick rock while cutting the wheels as hard as you can... I can see the inside tire spinning too fast.
    • You go to Moab, waste time on a jet boat, and then only do one mini-trail? You have your priorities out of line
    • I was expecting, "LET'S SEE HOW FAST WE CAN BOMB THROUGH CANYONLANDS TO GET THIS BORING TRIP OVER!!"
    • The six of them are sleeping in that one tent. Neat
    • "This is my first time in Utah and I'm for sure coming back.... in a $500k Lambo"

Did all these 5 National Parks last week with some chaps who had never been. All awesome, some are better for off-roading. Canyonlands and the Shafer Trail/White Rim Trail in particular are amazing. Nothing technical about the Shafer Trail, but sheer drops are sphincter-tightening for sure.
