Today I test fitted some SR8's and MT/R's. Also threw on some bumpstop spacers. The spacers are the perfect height and the wheels have the perfect backspacing. I went from 5" bs with the BFD's to 4" bs with the SR8's. The tire comes extremely close to the shock body to maybe just barely touching it. I think my rear suspension is finally pretty dialed in.

Also went to Scotty's for an alignment. My steering wheel no longer looks like it's turning right while going straight.

These (Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's) are much lighter than my previous wheel tire combo. I didn't weigh it or anything but the difference is big. They drive well on road and are a little quieter. I haven't really used them off road yet.

Are the sr8 wheels lighter than the BFDs? BFDs are pretty light!

I have two 1" aluminum spacers under each Timbren bumpstop. 2 inches seemed to be the perfect amount.

I never weighed anything but according to my research they are both 22lbs. I couldn't find weights for the tires.

Hey dude, I'm really thinking of going the shock relocate with kings route. How's the icon fronts with them? I assume you didn't need spacers with the sr8 (shit was close I know)? Did you get the custom 5" ato shackles or are you still running the stock length? Sorry if I missed some of these in your thread:

My biggest question about this whole thread is if the scenery makes your truck look good or if your truck makes the scenery look good? I think it's the latter.

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to go off roading to fully test the shock relocate and kings. Only brought it to a hill to quickly check flex and clearance. With the help of bumpstop spacers I'm at a comfortable compressed measurement. Bout an inch from full compression. The SR8's helped greatly with shock body rub. I have the 16" size with 4" backspacing. I'm about a few millimeters from shock body to tire at full stuff. They seemed to be perfectly matched with the icons up front on road but I wish I got the extended version instead. I'll be saving for a better mid travel solution for the fronts to keep up with the rear off road.

As far as the shackle flip, I used Rubicon Express XJ shackles which are 5". I'm pretty sure these are the ones.

Thank u but the scenery really does help. It's so beautiful here. Insert a Toyota Echo in any of my photos and it'll look like my truck. Haha
