I purchased a set of Weathertech floor liners for my 2015 Tacoma. Everything seems to fit great except the front Drivers liner. There is about a 1 inch gap at the kick panel. It seems as if there is not enough material due to the area they allowed for the foot rest, to reach the kick panel. I have sent a picture to Weathertech and I am waiting a reply. Sorry for the blurry pics. Anyone else having issues with these.

Yes, I had the same issue with my 2011 Tacoma but I sold the truck a couple years ago. It might not have bugged me but those things aren't cheap! I wondered if a heat gun would take care of it but never worked up the nerve to give it a try.

I tried heating them up but I didn't want to melt them. I thought it might have been packaged wrong and bent. It is still the same. I sent two emails to them but they only answered the second one because I tore a strip off them. I sent pictures as requested. They are supposed to be Digi fit. But they messed on up these for sure. There is not enough material after the foot rest hump. It bugs me because the rest fit like a glove I got the complete set. The one that will get the most use is the one that fits the worst!

I'm interested to see if they can do anything for you because I'll be shopping for this style of mat again when I trade the Tundra for a Tacoma.

That is why there have been many threads on the aka Weathergaps or Weatherfails. Waste of money for all the gaps you get. Get Husky Xact fits, I had those Weatherfails and they sucked.

Mine don't fit perfectly neither. Especially where you're showing on driver's side. I actually went to look at Husky's mainly because of comments that they're softer/more like rubber. I couldn't tell much difference so I'll just live with the w'techs.

What bugs me is that the rest of them fit perfectly. There are no gaps and of course I really don't have a lot of traffic on the back and passenger front. Mostly me in the truck. I will voice your concerns when and if I get a reply from them. Do the Huskys come in grey.

I had fitment issues on my Wife's XB. I was told by a Weathertech rep to flip the mats inside out and leave them overnight. Preferably in a cold area. It worked a tad, but not perfect. Worth a shot IMO....

Did you weight them down with something or just as they are. I tried to head them but I had not luck. Didn't want to melt them.

I just flipped em inside out, some corners are a bit stubborn, but I just stepped on it and pulled it back. They are pretty stiff as to where it'll stay in place.

Interesting. I tried your flip fix and just added a little weight with a boot. It seems to have worked. I put the drivers side in the car and the gap is gone. I will see how it does, long term. Anyway thanks for the tip.

Installed Cooper At/3's (265/70R16) and ProComp 7089 Rims. Tinted front windows. Did the Fog Light Anytime mod. Did the tailgate mod. Added running boards. Adding sound Deadening from RAAMaudio. Replacing stock speakers with Polk Audio DB6501's.
+1 for Huskey Better fit, better feel, better warranty, better looking, less expensive.

Just flip them over and put a big rubber boot on them to force the side out a little. Overnight.
I put them back in an they seem to work. I will check now after 4 hours and see how they look.
Just checked and the gap is now about 1/2 inch or less. I know they are just floor mats. I paid half as much for Corvette mats so I would expect a better fit. Thanks for the replies. I guess I am not OCD after all.

I have weathertechs in my 04 as well. Initially, they didn't fit very well. They had the same gap as your photo above. So I ended up tucking the door edge of the mat under the kick panel (the one that your foot hits if you were to move your foot too far left to hit the clutch/e-brake)

I then tucked the rest under the door sill panel. I did have to trim a couple spots for the trim screws to go back in. Maybe a square inch on the very edge (not visible). Now they don't move one bit. And they look like a perfect fit! The passenger side, I just dropped in. Seemed to fit much better.

I will update with pics later today

Well with all the weathertech bashing I thought I'd chirp in that my Ram 2500 mats fit fine. I wonder if the Tacoma is such a small market that there quality control isn't there. I'd guess that for every person that pays for expensive mats personally there are 4-5 company trucks with the mats, and the Tacoma isn't a common fleet vehicle...
